Mariano Light Illuminations

Who we are

Mariano Light Luminarie was born from the love for light, the Salento tradition and contemporary design.
With over 130 years of experience in the world of artistic lighting, we transform every project into a work capable of exciting.
From the patronal festivals of Puglia to the installations for international brands, we bring the luminous culture of Southern Italy, reinterpreted in a modern key, to the world and to people's homes.

The history of the Mariano family in the world of illuminations began in 1898, with Salvatore Mariano who worked as a Paratore, producer and installer of artistic decorations for religious celebrations in Salento. In 1946, his son Eliseo founded F.lli Mariano, and transformed the parazioni, decorations made of flowers, curtains, colored papier-mâché and oil candles, into majestic luminous scenographies using incandescent light bulbs, enchanting and illuminating the patronal festivals of Puglia. Since 1986, Lucio Mariano has developed the market of Christmas decorations, using LED and RGB lights, music-timed lighting and new materials, growing to become a point of reference in the scenography of important events around the world.

In 2023, architect Giulio Mariano founded Studio Light Mariano with the aim of pursuing innovation in the field of lighting, creating permanent cutting-edge light works of art, breaking away from the ephemeral nature of events.

Our team is made up of designers and artisans who work together to create unique and custom-made artistic luminaries. Each light sculpture starts with an idea and comes to life through durable materials and uncompromising attention to detail and finishing.
